The slitter scorer forms an integral part of the corrugator and is installed between the rotary shear and cutoff knife. Its function is to continuous processing of the board, on which it creates folds called “ scores” and slits longitudinally with respect to the direction of forward movement of the board. The scores and slits are positioned accurately for the order. All operations are automatically performed after data has been entered or received from the production system.
